Dumpster rental in Cave Spring, Hollins and Roanoke County
Cave Spring, Hollins and the rest of unincorporated Roanoke County get trash service from the county, not the City of Roanoke. That changes a few things for a dumpster.

Roads
Keep it on the driveway if you can
Roanoke County says VDOT maintains all of its public roads. Putting anything in a state road's right-of-way calls for a VDOT land use permit from the district or residency office. Most subdivision homes in Cave Spring and Hollins have room on the driveway, which avoids the question.
Cul-de-sacs are tight for a roll-off truck. Mention one on the call so the driver can plan the approach.
Common county projects
Shingles and broken concrete are both off the county's curbside list, so re-roofs and patio removals are the jobs most likely to need a container here. For the occasional pickup load, the transfer stations take household concrete and dirt up to 500 pounds. More on heavy debris.

Have three answers handy: what's going in, which patch of driveway or curb it can occupy, and the day you'd like to start. The rental company comes back with a container size, an open drop-off day and a figure for the whole job. Nothing gets scheduled unless you say yes.

Phone conversations can be recorded for quality and billing (how referrals work, privacy). Trash carts, recycling and curbside bulk pickup belong to City of Roanoke Solid Waste, not this number.
